Attempt no. 1: the basic macaron – part 2: the filling

I decided to do a simple lemon ganache to fill the macarons, since our landlord gave us a basketful of lemons. I’m using the recipe from the Macaron Diaries, which simply calls for 225 grams of white chocolate and 100 g lemon juice.

Generally, it’s best to prepare the filling a day before making the macaron shells, so stay tuned.
